And like that it's the end of another school year. After the lessons learned of last year's summer holidays spent working from home with listless children, we've created a bingo sheet for each child, filled with activities for them to occupy their time with, that don't involve glomming onto a screen all day long. If they fill a line, they get a chocolate bar or bag of sweets; a pair of lines is a toy or fidget or similar; and a full bingo sheet means they get a Yes Day. A— has already completed her first row (she was absolutely demonic about getting one yesterday), so there is a non-zero chance that she'll end up with more than one Yes Day. It's nice to see all three (especially the teenagers) engaging with it though. There are things on there which could easily be construed as childish, and the older two are just as keen to build a blanket fort as the youngest! Come to think of it, so am I...
